O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent not to harass the petitioners in the name of investigation/enquiry and direct them not to interfere in the civil dispute in respect of property in Survey No.1460, Keelathiruthangal Village, Naranapuram Road, Pallapatti Panchayat, Sivakiri Taluk and Sivakasi Panchayat Union, Virudhunagar District.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the respondent police frequently called the petitioners and harassed them under the guise of enquiry.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) on instructions, would submit that the petitioners were called only for enquiry in respect of a petition pending against them and that the respondent Police did not cause any harassment to the petitioners and the petition enquiry has been conducted and closed. He also produced the copy of the closure report before the Court.

5. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
