ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who is facing trial for the offence punishable under Sections 8(c) r/w. 20(b)(ii)(C), 25 and 29(1) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances 1/3

Act, 1985, in C.C.No.62 of 2024, pending on the file of the Principal Special Court for Trial of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act Cases, Madurai, in Crime No.584 of 2023, seeks bail.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police submits that the petitioner was detained under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 vide proceedings dated 26.09.2023.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
