ORDER
The petitioner has filed this writ petition for a Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.12.2021.
2.The case of the petitioner appears to be that all along the petitioner's great grandfather, namely A.Arumugam Udayar was entitled to the Mandagapadi privilege of Shri Mariamman Temple https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P(MD).No.7716 of 2022 situated at Samayapuram. According to the petitioner, there was a mistake with regard to initial in the receipt that was given in the name of Arumugam Udayar and therefore, the refusal to recognize the petitioner's family for such entitlement was not justified. 3.I have considered the arguments advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the official respondents and the learned counsel for the private respondent. 4.Since the petitioner may have a case, I direct the 3rd respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 21.12.2021 within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is at liberty to produce all the documents that may be required to substantiate the case before the 3rd respondent. It is needless to state that before the orders are passed, the 3rd respondent shall issue notice to the persons, who may have rival claims with regard to such Mandagapadi.
5.The writ petition stands disposed of, in terms of the above observation. No costs.
