PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to shift the high voltage electric Towers No.402, 403 as to avoid causalities of human lives due to the over head electric supply line across the houses of Indra Memorial Colony, Panchayat Village, Pampatti Panchayat, Kariapatti Taluk, Virudhunagar District, based on the resolution 03.03.2015 passed by the Pampatti Panchayat and the representation dated 22.05.2015 within the stipulated time.

ORDER
The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the respondents to shift the high voltage electric Towers No.402, 403 as to avoid causalities of human lives due to the over head electric supply https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
line across the houses of Indra Memorial Colony, Panchayat Village, Pampatti Panchayat, Kariapatti Taluk, Virudhunagar District, based on the resolution dated 03.03.2015 passed by the Pampatti Panchayat and the representation dated 22.05.2015 within the time limit as fixed by this Court.
2. It appears that the petitioner has already approached the respondents by way of her representation dated 22.05.2015 and sought for shifting of the power lines. Needless to say that it is for the Authorities to consider the request of the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law and therefore, this Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view, except to direct the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance the law. Such exercise shall be done by the second respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
3.With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
