Common Prayer: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's case for regularisation in the post of Watchman as extended to similarly placed persons in the light of G.O.Ms.No.121, Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare (ADW.4) Department, dated 07.12.2012 within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court. For Petitioners : Mr.G.Thalaimutharasu (in all Wps.) For Respondents : Mr.J.Gunaseelan Muthiah (in all Wps.) Government Advocate COMMON ORDER The writ petitions have been filed, seeking a common prayer for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider their case for regularization in the post of watchman, as extended to the similarly placed persons, in the light of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

G.O.Ms.No.121, Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare (ADW.4) Department, dated 07.12.2012, on the basis of the proposal, dated 20.02.2014, sent by the 3rd respondent, in and by which, a recommendation has already been made saying that the case of the petitioners may be considered for regularization.

2. Mr.J.Gunaseelan Muthiah, learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondents submitted that proposals have already been sent by the 3rd respondent, but the same is pending for consideration before the 2nd respondent and therefore, if reasonable time is granted by this Court, the pending proposal will be duly considered.

3. Recording the same, the 2nd respondent is hereby directed to consider the pending proposal, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 10 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the writ petitions are disposed of. No costs.
