RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT/COMPLAINANT Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to modify the order dated 01.07.2020 made in Crl.OP.No. 6583 of 2020 on the file of this Hon`ble Court to the effect that the petitioner shall report before the Inspector of police, Thirppulani Police Station, Ramanathapuram District Daily at 10.30 am instead of Tirunelveli Town Police Station 10.30 am until further orders and pass such other orders.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.J.VISHNU, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.K.SUYAMBULINGA BHARATHI, Government Advocate(Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This Court, by order dated 01.07.2020, in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.6583 of 2020, granted anticipatory bail with a condition to stay at Tirunelveli and report before the Tirunelveli Town Police Station. Now, the present petition has been filed to modify the conditions on the ground that due to lock down owing to COVID-19 pandemic situation, the petitioner could not travel to Tirunelveli.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) would submit that even though the petitioner belongs to Ramanathapuram District, so far, he has not surrendered before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Ramanathapuram and executed the sureties. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

3. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to modify the conditions and hence, this petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is granted two weeks time from today to surrender before the Court concerned and execute the sureties.
