Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the learned Special Court for Exclusive Trial of SC/ST(POA)Act Cases Virudhunagar District at Srivilliputtur to accept the surrender of the Petitioner/Accused No.1 and consider the Petitioner's Bail Application and grant bail on the same date of surrender itself in Crime No.681 of 2020 on the file of second respondent Police.

ORDER:- This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.C.Veerasingam, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr.R.M.Anbunithi, Government Advocate(crl.side) for the respondents 1 and 2, this Court made the following order: This petition has been filed to extend the time granted in the order dated 08.03.2021 made in Crl.O.P(MD) No.3560 of 2021 on the file of this Court.

2.Today, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that due to financial crisis and Covid-19 pandemic situation, he could not produce two sureties before the concerned Court within https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the stipulated time prescribed by this Court and hence seek time to surrender.

3. Considering the request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, 15 days time is extended from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is ordered.
