O R D E R

This petition has been filed by the petitioners to direct the learned Assistant Sessions Judge, Kulithalai to expedite the trial and complete the same within the stipulated time in S.C.No.49 of 2019 on the file of the learned Assistant Sessions Judge, Kulithali.

2. According to the petitioners, they are the accused in this case and F.I.R has been registered in the year 2018 and the sessions case is pending from year 2019 in S.C.No.49 of 2019 and so far no any witnesses have been examined. Therefore, they have filed this petition for speedy disposal of the case.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that the petitioners are the accused in this case and the case is posted for examination of L.W.1 to 3 and they will cooperate for the speedy disposal of the case by producing the witness as directed by the Trial court

4. Considering the prayer sought for in the petition and also the case Page No. 2 of 4

is pending from the year 2018 and now the case is posted for examination of witnesses, this Court directs the Trial Court, namely, the Assistant Sessions Court, Kulithali to complete the proceedings in S.C.No.49 of 2019 as early as possible without giving any long adjournments beyond one week.

5. With the above said observation and direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
