For Petitioner : Mr.K.Malaimaran For Respondents : Mr.S.Shanmugavel Additional Government Pleader O R D ER This petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.01.2026 and pass appropriate orders on relating to the petitioner's property in Patta No.1017 in respect of Survey Nos.356/1, 356/2A, 346/1B, 350/1A & 356/2B situated at Sethurayanendal Village, Thrichuzhi Taluk, Virudhunagar District, within the stipulated time fixed by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner claims ownership of the property based on sale deeds registered as Document No. 1193/1980 and Document No. 598/1984. He further stated that the petitioner, along with certain other individuals, holds a joint patta as well as a computer patta; however, there is an error in the revenue records. It was also submitted that the petitioner had already filed a representation dated 01.01.2021, pursuant to which an enquiry was initiated and summons were issued in Na.Ka. 2/5

A5/1104/2021. Despite this, the enquiry has not yet been concluded. Therefore, the petitioner seeks a direction to the concerned authority to complete the enquiry within a stipulated time frame.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the first respondent has already sought a report from the Tahsildar/second respondent and the same is pending.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to submit a report before the first respondent within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Thereafter, the first respondent shall consider and pass appropriate orders within a period of two months therefrom.
