No.4255 of 2021 dated 31.03.2021,on the file of this Honorable Court,while granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Order :This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.S.MALAIKANI, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.M.MUTHUMANIKAM, Counsel for Government of Tamil Nadu(Crl.Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the Court made the following order:- The petition has been filed to extend the time granted by this court in Crl.O.P(MD)No.4255 of 2021 dated 31.03.2021, for producing the sureties and for executing the bail bond.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that due to covid-19 pandemic situation he is unable to arrange sureties and could not surrender before the concerned Magistrate and execute the bail bond within a stipulated time as ordered by this Court. Hence, he prays to grant further time to execute the sureties.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners and also the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic situation this petition is allowed and the time for producing the sureties is extended by two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order as a last chance.
