Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the official respondents.

3. The writ petitioner is a resident of Alwarthoppu. He alleges that at the instance of the sixth respondent school, an Anganwadi Centre is being constructed in a water body. Hence, this petition has been filed to forbear the authorities from doing so.
4. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate submitted that the water body is located only in survey No.134/64. The present construction is to come up in survey No.134/61 and not in survey No.134/64. We notice from the extracts of the revenue record that survey No.134/64 has been classified as "vacant site and Kuttam". Kuttam is said to be a synonym for a water body. The extent of the water body is not specified in the revenue record. We make it clear that the water body existing in survey No.134/64 shall not be disturbed at any cost. This writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
