... Respondent/Respondent Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to grant extension of the time of the operation of the order in CRL OP(MD)No.2031 of 2021 dated 31.03.2021 on the file of the Hon'ble Court.

Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.M.SHAJAHAN, Advocate for the petitioners and of Mr.KR.BHARATHI KANNAN, Government Advocate(Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the Court made the following order:- The petition has been filed to extend the time granted by this court in Crl.O.P(MD)No.2031 of 2021 dated 31.03.2021, for producing the sureties and for executing the bail bond. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that due to COVID-19 situation, the petitioners were unable to arrange sureties and could not surrender before the concerned Magistrate and execute the bail bond within a stipulated time as ordered by this Court. Hence, he prays to grant further time to execute the sureties.

3.Heard the learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side) appearing for the State.

CRL MP(MD) No.3596 of 2021 petitioners, the time for producing the sureties is extended by two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order as a last chance.
