This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the second respondent to give permission and police protection for the event of Cultural program scheduled to be held on 23.06.2018 at the temple festival of Arulmigu Thattankulam Kaliamman Temple, Thevipattinam, Sivagiri Taluk, Tirunelveli District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 20.05.2018. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.According to the petitioner, the petitioner has made a representation dated 20.05.2018 to the second respondent seeking the aforesaid prayer. Since no order has been passed on the petitioner's representation, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition before this Court.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation is pending with the second respondent and the same will be https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

considered and appropriate orders will be passed within the time limit to be fixed by this Court.

5.Considering the above submissions made on either side, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 20.05.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before 20.06.2018, after affording an opportunity to the parties concerned. 6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
