This petition has been filed to directing the respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry on the foisted complaint given by one Bhuvaneswari.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the respondent police frequently called the petitioner and harassed him under the guise of enquiry.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) on instructions would submit that based on the complaint given by one Bhuvaneswari against the petitioner, petition enquiry has been conducted and subsequently the same has been closed on 23.12.2016 and the petitioner's appearance is not at all required by the respondent Police. Hence, there is no scope of harassment as alleged by the petitioner.

5. In view of the above submission of the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
