PRAYER: Petition filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, praying to direct the second respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and her life and limb by considering the petitioner's representation dated 02.06.2020. For Petitioner : Mr.S.M.A.Jinnah For R1 and R2 : Mr.S.Chandrasekar Additional Public Prosecutor

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the second respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and her life and limb, by considering her representation dated 02.06.2020.

2.Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent police. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that due to the construction of toilet, dispute arose between the petitioner and the third and fourth respondents. Due to which, the third and fourth respondents made a life threat to the petitioner and her husband. Though on 02.06.2020 the petitioner lodged a complaint against the third and fourth respondents, the second respondent has not initiated any action. CRL OP(MD)No.7431 2020 interference of this Court is necessary to protect the life and limb of the petitioner.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police, on instructions, would submit that as of now, no complaint has been received by the respondent police and if any complaint is received in future and if it is found protection is required, suitable action will be taken by the respondent police. 5.In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
