PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of habeas corpus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to produce the body of the Petitioner's daughter Kavipriya, aged 24 years and grand-son minor Nivas, aged 1 year before this Court and set them at liberty.

O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to produce the Petitioner's daughter Kavipriya, aged 24 years and her grand-son minor Nivas, aged 1 year before this Court and set them at liberty.

2.It is the case of the Petitioner that she is working in a Paper Board Company at Pithalaipatty in Dindukkal District where the fourth respondent is also working and on 21.1.2020, at about 7.30 a.m., the respondents 4 and 5 took the Petitioner's daughter for 1/3

providing employment and thereafter, she is out of contact of the Petitioner. The complaint given to the respondent/Police in this regard evoke no response and hence, the present Habeas Corpus Petition.

3.Heard Mr.S.Muthukrishnan, learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner and Mr.R.Anandharaj, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and perused the materials available on record.

4.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would state that the first detenue is in Jharkhand and she had gone there for employment and now she is working in an Idly Shop and she had already spoken to the Petitioner through Whats-app Video Call that was recorded by the third respondent. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would also state that the conversation between the Petitioner and the first detenue reveals that the first detenue is not in illegal detention , as of now. 5.In the light of the above statement made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, nothing survives for consideration in this Habeas Corpus Petition and accordingly, the same stands closed.
