Respondents Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records pertaining to the order passed by the 2nd respondent in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.42391/2014/PA2 dated 31.03.2016 and quash the same and direct the respondents to include the petitioner name in the panel for promotion to the post of Deputy Tahsildar for the year 2017.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to quash the impugned order, dated 31.03.2016, passed by the second respondent and consequently, direct the respondents to include the petitioners' name in the panel for promotion to the post of Deputy Tahsildar, for the year 2017.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents filed a counter and submitted that an appeal the against order passed by the second respondent, dated 31.03.2016, is pending before the Special Commissioner and Commissioner of Revenue Administration, Chennai in RC.No.A2/33001/16, dated 07.11.2016.

4. In view of the submission, the Appellate Authority is directed to dispose of the appeal pending before them, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
