PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to expedite the enquiry of the petitioner's application dated 29.08.2024. For Petitioner : Mrs.N.Vijayalakshmi For R1 : Mr.M.Lingadurai Special Government Pleader

ORDER

The petitioner has preferred an appeal on 29.08.2024 to cancel the patta issued, leaving out the female heirs. The said appeal is pending on the file of the first respondent.

2. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent would submit that an enquiry is being conducted and the next date of hearing is 08.04.2025.

3. In view of the above, it would suffice to dispose of the writ petition directing the first respondent to conclude the pending enquiry and pass final orders on the petitioner's appeal dated 29.08.2024,within a period of twelve weeks from 08.04.2025, on merits and in accordance with law.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
