ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of Mandamus directing the respondent No.1 to return the petitioner's service Register to the 2nd respondent college.

2. When the matter came up for consideration before this Court for admission on 13.03.2026 and the same was adjourned to enable the presence of Mr.N.Satheesh Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader to get instructions.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, Mr.N.Satheesh Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, submits that the service register of the petitioner is pending for grant of incentive increment and the same would be returned to the 2nd respondent college within a period of 15 days, for the purpose of granting annual increment which was due in the month of January 2026.

In the light of the above, this Court does not see any reason to adjudicate the matter on merits and accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of directing the first respondent to return the service register of the petitioner within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order to the second respondent college. No costs.
