Respondents P RAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to conclude the order of the 2nd respondent in proceedings in Na.Ka.A4/486/2021 dated 29.06.2021 initiated pursuant to the application made by the petitioner dated 09.02.2021 under the Tamil Nadu Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act 2007.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for limited relief of earlier disposal of the petitioner's application dated 09.02.2021 submitted under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act 2007, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2.The petitioner claims to be a senior citizen and he has submitted an application against his three sons under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act 2007, on 09.02.2021. The second respondent has already initiated the proceedings, based on the petitioner's application. The petitioner seeks for early disposal of the said application. 3.No prejudice would be caused to the second respondent, if such a direction is given by this Court.

4.For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the second respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's application dated 09.02.2021 submitted under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act 2007, against his three children, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.[MD]No.7760 of 2022 after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner and other necessary parties, whom the second respondent deems fit to enquire, within a period of four [4] months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
