Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the first respondent pertaining to the impugned provisional list of candidates selected after oral interview published on 27.01.2015 quash the same, as the same has been issued without clarifying the manner in which the marks have been awarded for the candidates in respect of the basic educational qualification and teaching experience and consequentially direct the first respondent to draw a provisional list afresh clarifying the marks awarded to the candidates for basic educational qualification for Ph.D. Degree holders in consonance with the University Grants Commission Regulations 2009, 2010 and to calculate the teaching experience on the basis of the date of completion of the requisite minimum educational qualification.

ORDER
The relief sought for in the present Writ Petition is to quash the provisional selection list of candidates, published on 27.01.2015 and to direct the first respondent to draw a provisional list afresh clarifying the marks awarded to the candidates for basic educational qualification for Ph.D. Degree holders in consonance with the University Grants Commission Regulations 2009, 2010 and to calculate the teaching experience on the basis of the date of completion of the requisite minimum educational qualification. 2.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the first respondent made a submission that the claim of the writ petitioner was considered and marks were awarded for M.Phil degree obtained through distance education.
3.Even after granting marks for M.Phil degree, the writ petitioner had secured 21 marks in the selection. The last candidate selected under BC (General) category had secured 25 marks and in respect of BC (Women) Category is 23 marks. Thus, the writ petitioner was not within the zone of consideration and therefore, even after awarding marks for M.Phil degree, the writ petitioner was not within the zone of consideration.
4.Thus, this Writ Petition deserves no further consideration and stands dismissed.
No costs.
Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
