ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent herein to expedite the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.4680/10/A6, dated 27.09.2010 and pass orders within a stipulated time.

2. Mr.M.Murugan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents.

3. By consent, this Writ Petition itself is taken up final disposal.

4. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioners have purchased the properties in S.No.9/7A to an extent of 6.16.5 hectares and S.No.9/7B to an extent of 0.43.5 ares and S.No.7/2 A2E to an extent of 2 acres, in and by registered sale deeds executed by one Sivanantha Vairavi on various dates in the year 2009. Subsequently, they came to know that the patta for the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

said lands are bearing patta Nos.261, 316 and 260 respectively, were wrongly standing in the name of Sami Ayya Ambalam, Veluchamy Ambalam, Panneer Veerappan, Shanmugan Ambalam and Subramohan Ambalam. Hence, the petitioners preferred an appeal before the second respondent herein in the year 2010, which was later numbered as Na.Ka.No.4680/10/A6, to cancel patta standing in the names of the above stated persons. But the said appeal was pending for the past five years. Hence, the petitioners have come forward with this petition for the above stated relief.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioners on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to all the necessary parties, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ petition is disposed of. No Costs.
