ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to quash order passed by the third respondent in A5/483/2024 dated 14.02.2024 and to direct the third respondent to restore the seniority in the third respondent office register of the petitioner. 2.Mr.S.Sarvagan Prabhu, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's name was registered in the Employment Exchange under the priority category of those persons, whose lands have been acquired by the Government. Now, the grievance of the petitioner is that the third respondent has passed an order stating that the petitioner is not entitled to be kept under the same category as he is not the direct legal heir of a person from whom, the lands have been acquired.

3.Since the impugned order has been passed without giving any notice to the petitioner, the same is hereby quashed. The third respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and give him two weeks time to make his submissions and shall pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of reply from the petitioner.
