ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records and quash the final report filed against the petitioners in S.T.C.No.781 of 2022, on the file of the Learned Judicial Magistrate Court, Ambasamudram in respect of Crime No.478/2021, on the file of the 1st respondent Police.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that the Government has taken a policy decision not to pursue the case registered in the wake of breach of lock down restrictions and hence, further action in the above said final report registered in 2/5

S.T.C.No.781 of 2022, on the file of the Learned Judicial Magistrate Court, Ambasamudram in respect of Crime No.478/2021, has to be dropped.

3. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the final report registered against the petitioners in S.T.C.No.781 of 2022, on the file of the Learned Judicial Magistrate Court, Ambasamudram is hereby quashed. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
