PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent NO.2 to provide the educational loan of Rs.84,000/-(Rupees eight four thousand only) for the academic year 2014 to 2017 for the petitioner's minor son P.Manoj to pursue Diploma Course in Mechanical Engineering and continue his further studies within the period that may be stipulated by this Court and pass such further or other orders as this Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.

O R D E R

In this writ petition the petitioner is seeking for issuance of a Writ of mandamus directing the respondent NO.2 to provide the educational loan of Rs.84,000/-(Rupees eight four thousand only) for the academic year 2014 to 2017 for the petitioner's minor son P.Manoj to pursue Diploma Course in Mechanical Engineering and continue his further studies within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents.

3. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the respondent bank submitted that the bank officials are eagerly waiting for arrival of the petitioner for considering the petitioner's educational loan application and for passing orders as per IBI norms.

4. Recording the submission of the learned counsel appearing for the respondents, this writ petition is closed. However, the petitioner is directed to approach the bank authorities and on such appearance, the respondent bank is directed to consider the petitioner's educational loan application and pass orders within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. No costs.
