This petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., praying to quash the charge sheet in C.C.No.19 of 2011 in connection with the Crime No.137 of 2010 on the file of the respondent No.1 Police Station and pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Nanguneri.

2.Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the petitioners/A1 to A6 and the 2nd respondent/de-facto complainant along with their counsel appeared in person. They have filed a joint Memorandum of compromise stating that the matter has already been compromised between the parties and the de-facto complainant has no objection to quash the entire proceedings in connection with the case in C.C.No.19 of 2011 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Nanguneri.

3.In view of the statement made by the parties and the joint compromise memo filed by them, no fruitful purpose will be achieved to proceed further in this matter.

4.In view of that, this petition is allowed and the entire proceedings in respect of C.C.No.19 of 2011 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Nanguneri, is quashed as against the petitioners. The joint compromise memo shall form part of the record.
