This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioners herein under the guise of enquiry.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) produced a xerox copy of the letters given by the defacto complainant, Sarasmari @ Mari and the petitioners, in which they are stating that they will amicably settle their dispute out of Court and no further action is necessary in the complaint.
4. In view of the same, this Court is of the opinion that it can safely be said that no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
