This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to file a final report before the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Peraiyur, in Crime No.134 of 2014, pending on his file.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) for the respondent and perused the records.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, would submit that the respondent police has already conducted the enquiry and closed the case in Crime No.134 of 2014 as 'action dropped' on 26.12.2016. He also produced a copy of the final report before this Court.

4. Recording the statement made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to take appropriate action before the appropriate forum according to law.
