ORDER

With the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal, even at the stage of admission.

2. The petitioner seeks issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to act on his representation dated 01.03.2025.

3. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Kameswaran, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

4. The learned Government Advocate would submit that there is already a direction of this Court to take action against the subject survey number which is classified as a street. However, Mr.R.J.Karthick, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the present application for 2/5

rectification was necessitated only because of the said order in the writ petition. Be that as it may, the application of the petitioner is pending and the same is required to be disposed of, on merits by the second respondent.

5. Considering that the petitioner's request is for correction of UDR mistake in the revenue records, the second respondent would be the competent authority to address the grievance of the petitioner.

6. In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 01.03.2025 after hearing the petitioner and any other interested parties and pass final orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
