ORDER
Mr.A.P.Muthupandian, learned Standing Counsel takes notice on behalf of the respondent.
2.The petitioners seek for a Mandamus directing the respondent to pay leave salary together with interest payable to the petitioners. All these petitioners were working under the respondent Corporation and retired from service. According to the petitioners, the leave salary was not paid to them which they are otherwise entitled to. As it is not paid, they have filed the present writ petitions before this Court seeking for the relief as stated supra.
3.It is seen that the grievance of the petitioners were brought to the knowledge of the respondent through representation made on 15.09.2014 and such representation is said to be still pending. Therefore, it is for the respondent to consider the said representation and pass appropriate orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law. It is made clear that this Court is not expressing any view on the merits and the claim made by the petitioners at this stage. 4.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of only with a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 15.09.2014 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
