ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.03.2022 seeking for issuance of patta in her name in respect of the property comprised in Survey No.73/2, situated at Koovanuthu Village, Nilakottai Taluk, Dindigul District, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2.The petitioner claims that she is the absolute owner of the aforementioned property and she was issued with patta No.1015 in her name. According to the petitioner, arbitrarily the revenue records now show that the subject property is a government poramboke land. The petitioner has submitted a representation on 30.03.2022 seeking for issuance of patta in her name. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
3.Heard Mr.C.Prithviraj, learned Counsel for the writ petitioner and Mr.D.Sasikumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 4.No prejudice would be caused to the first respondent, if the petitioner's representation is considered on merits and in accordance with law, after affording a fair hearing to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.[MD]No.8026 of 2022 petitioner including granting her the right of personal hearing and also permitting her to produce all the relevant documents/records in support of her claim.
5.For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.03.2022 seeking for issuance of patta in respect of the property comprised in Survey No.73/2, situated at Koovanuthu Village, Nilakottai Taluk, Dindigul District and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner and any other rival claimants including granting them the right of personal hearing, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
