2. The petitioner wants individual patta to be issued in his favour after effecting sub division.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader informs the Court that there is a boundary dispute with one Vairakkal. The petitioner's counsel points out that the said Vairakkal as well as the petitioner are tracing their title through one and the same person and that therefore, based on the records, the petitioner's request can be considered.

4. The respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the petitioner's application and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. Interested persons shall be put on notice before passing the final order.
