ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the second respondent to issue patta in respect of house site property measuring 6 1⁄2 cents in survey No.136/1, resurvey No. 473/10 situated at Keelakavanur Village, Therkku Kudiyeruppu, Radhapuli Group, Paramakudi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, based on the representation of the petitioner dated 11.03.2022, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2.The petitioner has filed documents along with this writ petition to substantiate his claim that he is the owner of the aforementioned property and is in possession of the same. He has submitted a representation on 11.03.2022 seeking for issuance of patta. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, this writ petition has been filed.

3.Heard Mr.R.Gowrishankar, learned Counsel for the writ petitioner and Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.[MD]No.7766 of 2022 4.No prejudice would be caused to the second respondent, if the petitioner's representation seeking for issuance of patta is considered on merits and in accordance with law, after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner, as well as any other necessary party, whom the second respondent deems fit to enquire. 5.For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the second respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's representation dated 11.03.2022 seeking for issuance of patta in his favour in respect of his house site property measuring 6 1⁄2 cents in survey No.136/1, re-survey No. 473/10 situated at Keelakavanur Village, Therkku Kudiyeruppu, Radhapuli Group, Paramakudi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner, as well as any other necessary party, whom the second respondent deems fit to enquire, within a period of twelve [12] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
