ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J) Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioners seek a direction to dispose of their appeal filed before the District Collector, Tiruchirappalli, challenging the order of the Revenue Divisional Officer, Musiri rejecting the claim of the petitioners for community certificates to the effect that they belong to Konda Reddy Community.

3.Though the petitioners challenged the order by way of a civil suit and were successful before one forum, pending second appeal, this Court 2/4

had held that the suit challenging the rejection of community certificate is not maintainable. Therefore, the petitioner has been granted liberty to file an appeal and the appeal has accordingly been filed.

4. Considering the fact that the order impugned in the appeal is of the year 1993, there will be a direction to the District Collector, Tiruchirappalli, the appellate authority, to dispose of the appeal within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
