The prayer in this writ petition is to directing the first and second respondents to grant police protection to conduct the 'Sri Mariyamman Temple Festival' on 24.05.2022 to 01.06.2022 situated at Pariyanvayal, Kandadevi, Devakkottai Taluk, Sivagangai District, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 15.04.2022.

2. The petitioner was seeking police protection for conduct the festival in Sri Mariyamman Temple. He submitted the representation without permission on 15.04.2022. So admittedly, there are rival claimers namely, respondents 3 and 4 herein to conduct the festival which relates to Sri Mariyamman Temple situated at Pariyanvayal, Kandadevi, Devakkottai Taluk, Sivagangai District. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

3. In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner and the respondents 3 and 4 herein and conduct the enquiry and dispose of the same, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
