The petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking issuance of writ of mandamus to direct the respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal filed in the year 2015.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions, would submit that the appeal was preferred before the Revenue Divisional Officer even in the year 2015 and the officers are not able to trace the records.

4. Considering the fact that the said appeal is available in the typedset of papers, there may not be any difficulty for the Revenue Divisional Officer to pass orders on the petitioner's appeal. Therefore, the respondent is directed to pass orders on the petitioner's appeal in Na.Ka.No.3280/2015/A3, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as any other interested parties, if any, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
