The petitioner has filed this criminal original petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, seeking for a direction to the respondent - Police to register a case, based on her complaint, dated 07.05.2018.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that based on the complaint, dated 07.05.2018, lodged by the petitioner, an enquiry was conducted by the respondent - Police and during the course of enquiry, the petitioner submitted that she would pursue her remedy before the concerned jurisdictional Police, namely, Kovilpatti Police Station and therefore, the further action on the petitioner's complaint has been dropped. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4. In view of the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this criminal original petition is
dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to pursue her remedy before the concerned Jurisdictional Police, namely, Kovilpatti Police Station.
