ORDER

The present petition has been filed by the 1st and 2nd accused seeking to quash the charge sheet in C.C.No.45 of 2026 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvadanai, wherein the petitioners are alleged to have committed offences under Sections 296(b), 115(2), 351(2) and 4 of TamilNadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002.

2. Pending trial, the parties have entered into a compromise, wherein, the defacto complainant has agreed for quashing of the charge sheet.

3. The defacto complainant is present in-person before this Court and she submits that she had agreed for quashing of charge sheet as against the petitioner.

4. Considering the above said facts, charge sheet in C.C.No.45 of 2026, on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvadanai is hereby quashed as against the petitioner/Accused Nos.1 and 2.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands allowed. The joint compromise memo shall form part and parcel of the order. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
