The above petition has been filed seeking orders to condone the delay of 6 days in preferring the appeal, challenging the award passed in M.C.O.P.No.458 of 2022 dated 14.08.2025 on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal / Special Subordinate Court to deal with MCOP cases, Dindigul.

2. Despite receipt of notice, the respondents failed to enter into appearance.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

4. Considering the reasons assigned and taking note of the quantum of delay, this Court is inclined to condone the delay. Accordingly, this petition is ordered and the Registry is directed to number the appeal, if it is otherwise in order and list it for admission in the usual course.
