Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to reimburse the medical expenditures incurred by the petitioner, for the treatment of his wife Jamuna to the tune of Rs.1,40,586/- with interest at 6% from the date of his claim petition till its disposal.

ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to reimburse the medical expenditures incurred by the petitioner, for the treatment of his wife Jamuna to the tune of Rs.1,40,586/- with interest at 6% from the date of his claim petition till its disposal. 2/5

2. Heard Mr.R.Suriyanarayanan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner has been settled the eligible amount to the tune of Rs.67,960/-.

4. In view of the same, this writ petition is closed as infructuous. No Costs. If the petitioner has got any grievance with regard to the disbursement, he can file an appeal before the appropriate forum/District Collector and seek appropriate remedy. 06.06.2024 Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No NCC : Yes / No PJL 3/5
