PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.527 of 2021 on the file of the Respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/sole accused, who was arrested on 17.04.2021 for the offence punishable under Section 4(1)(a) r/w 4(1-A) of Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act in Crime No.527 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side).

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he is in judicial custody from 17.04.2021, hence he may be granted bail.

3.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that the petitioner has two previous cases, similar in nature.

4.It is seen from the submissions made that on 17.4.2021, the petitioner was found with 4 litres of Pondicherry Arrack and he was arrested. Hence, the complaint.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the fact that the petitioner has two previous cases similar in nature, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
