Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the impugned Charge Memo dated 26.05.2020 in Unknown Departmental Proceedings Number of 2020 pending on the file of the second respondent and quash the same as illegal, ultravires of Rule 17(b) of the Tamilnadu Civil Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rule.

[Order of the Court was made by M.SATHYANARAYANAN, J., ] After some arguments, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, on instructions, prays for withdrawal of this writ petition and since the petitioner is aged about 51 years and also optimistic about his success in the impugned departmental proceedings, prays for expeditious conclusion. 2.The Court heard the submissions of Mr.N.Mohideen Basha, who accepts notice on behalf of respondents.

W.P.(MD) No.7624 of 2020 3.In the result, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is required to sent a e-mail to the Registry as to the withdrawal of this writ petition.

5.The second respondent is directed to conclude the enquiry proceedings as expeditiously as possible and submit a report to the first respondent, who is also directed to pass early orders, in accordance with law.
