ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner herein is shown as A1 in Crime No.28 of 2011 on the file of the Tharivaikulam Police Station, Tuticorin District. The defacto complainant is Muniyasamy. The criminal case came to be registered following the loss suffered by the defacto complainant in the matter of purchase of a tractor. The issue has now been amicably resolved between the parties. They have also filed a joint memo of compromise dated 14.02.2019.

2.I am therefore of the view that no purpose will be served by keeping the prosecution alive. Hence, this Court by invoking its inherent powers under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, quashes the First Information Report in Crime No.28 of 2011 on the file of the Tharivaikulam Police Station, Tuticorin District. 3.Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is disposed of.
