ORDER

The present petition has been filed by the 8th accused in C.C. No. 169 of 2019 on the file of Judicial Magistrate, Pattukottai, seeking to quash the charge sheet, wherein he has been charged with offences under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 324, 506(ii) of IPC and r/w 3(1) of PPDL Act.

2. The case was split up against A4 and A8 and the trial was conducted against the other accused persons, all of them were acquitted after trial. Thereafter, the trial proceeded against A8 in C.C. No. 169 of 2019 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Pattukottai. Pending trial, the parties have entered into a compromise, wherein the defacto complainant has agreed for quashing of the charge sheet.

3. Today, the defacto complainant is present in person before this Court and acknowledges the fact that he agreed for quashing of the charge sheet.

4. Considering the above said facts, the C.C. No. 169 of 2019 on the file of Judicial Magistrate, Pattukottai, is hereby quashed and the Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
