(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble N.Anand Venkatesh J.) This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 790 days in paying the deficit court fee of Rs.23,573/- in the above Civil Miscellaneous Appeal in C.M.A.(MD) S.R. No.4321 of 2023.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the second respondent.

3. Considering the averments made in the affidavit filed in support of the petition and the fact that the claimants have approached this Court seeking enhancement of compensation, we are inclined to condone the delay of 790 days in paying the deficit court fee of Rs.23,573/-. Accordingly, this petition is allowed. However, it is made clear that the claimants/petitioners shall not be entitled to any interest for the entire period of 790 days.
