ORDER

The petitioner with a grievance that his complaint forwarded by the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Madurai under Section 156(3) CrPC has not been enquired by the City Crime Branch Madurai, has approached this court to direct the 4th respondent to investigate into his complaint. 2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that the City Crime Branch has no jurisdiction to enquire into the complaint of this petitioner, which was forwarded by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Madurai in CrMP No.4786 of 2023. This has been communicated by the Sub Inspector of Police, City Crime Branch to the Judicial Magistrate concerned. He has also produced a copy of the said communication. He further submits that the petitioner has filed another petition under Section 200 CrPC and it has been numbered as CrMP.No.1025 of 2024 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Madurai.

3.Considering the above submission of the learned Government Advocate and also considering that the petitioner has already invoked the 2/4

provisions under Section 200 CrPC, this petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to workout his remedy in CrMP No.1025 of 2024 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Madurai. 04.06.2025 DSK To 1.The Commissioner of Police, Madurai City.
