PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 483(i)(b) r/w 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 to set aside the order made in Crl.M.P.No.1266 of 2025 on the file of the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Madurai, dated 14.03.2025 and modify the condition "No.ii. After release the petitioner shall appear and sign before the Inspector of Police, the respondent police station daily at 10.00 a.m., for a period of 15 days" in Crl.M.P.No.1115 of 2025 on the file of the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Madurai, dated 05.03.2025. O RDER This Petition has been filed to set aside the order made in Crl.M.P.No.1266 of 2025 on the file of the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Madurai, dated 14.03.2025 and modify the condition "No.ii. After release the petitioner shall appear and sign before the Inspector of Police, the respondent police station daily at 10.00 a.m., for a period of 15 days" in Crl.M.P.No.1115 of 2025 on the file of the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Madurai, dated 05.03.2025.

2. Mr.S.Prabhu, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, submits that since the petitioner is a Police Constable working in Police Department at Madurai and the respondent-police is at Palamedu, she could not comply with the condition. Hence, he seeks modification of the condition.

3. Heard Mr.S.S.Manoj, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the State.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the reasons stated in the petition and also considering the request made by the petitioner, 2/4

this Court is inclined to set aside the order made in Crl.M.P.No.1266 of 2025, on the file of the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Madurai, dated 14.03.2025 and modify the condition No.5(ii) in Crl.M.P.No.1115 of 2025, on the file of the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Madurai, dated 05.03.2025 and the petitioner shall appear and sign before the respondent-police weekly once i.e., on every Sunday, for eight weeks. To that effect, this petition is ordered.
