For Respondent : Mr.T.Senthilkumar, Additional Public Prosecutor PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory bail in crime no.7 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent Police, for the offence punishable under Sections 498(A), 406, 294(b), 506(ii) IPC, in Crime No. 7 of 2021, on the file of the respondent Police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The first petitioner is the husband of the defacto complainant and the second and third petitioners are in-laws. Due to some misunderstanding, the defacto complainant, on 17.03.2020, left the matrimonial home.

3. Since this is a case of matrimonial dispute, this Court, vide order dated 11.08.2021, referred the matter to the Social Welfare Officer for settlement.

4. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that on the effective steps taken by the Social Welfare Officer, the dispute between the husband https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.6146 of 2021 and wife has amicably been settled and the complaint is likely to be closed.

5. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Original Petition is closed as no further order is necessary.

6. This Court places its appreciation to the Social Welfare Officer, Madurai, for amicably settling the dispute between the parties.
