Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that the investigation in Crime No.519 of 2015 has been completed and absconding charge sheet has been filed against the accused before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Usilampatti, on 15.02.2017.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner also fairly submitted that the accused had moved for Anticipatory Bail before this Court and this Court has referred the matter to the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre, attached to this Bench, where, during the mediation talks, the accused is said to have paid some amount.

3. Recording the aforesaid developments, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedies in the manner known to law.
