ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the the learned Judge, Family Court at Madurai, to dispose of the petition in M.C.No.255 of 2022 within a time frame fixed by this Court. 1/4

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

3. The learned Counsel appearing for the revision petitioner would submit that the petitioner and the respondent separated from 04.08.2022 and thereafter, the petition for maintenance filed by the revision petitioner / wife on 05.12.2022 and the same is pending for the past two years without any progress. He would further submit that the respondent is intentionally dragging on the proceedings in order to harass the petitioner and therefore, the said case may be disposed of within the time stipulated by this Court.

Having been taken into consideration of the material facts and circumstances and that the matter is pending for the past two years without any progress, this Court is of the view that in the interest of justice, a direction may be issued to the learned Judge, Family Court at Madurai, to dispose of the said M.C.No.255 of 2022 as expeditiously as possible.

5. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned Judge, Family Court at Madurai, to dispose of the said M.C.No.255 of 2022, pending on his file within a period of four 2/4

months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order on merits and in accordance with law. No costs.
